Facebook email scam

Yet another email phishing scam is making the rounds:

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/mssmallbiz/archive/2014/05/09/beware-of-this-facebook-your-messages-will-be-deleted-email-scam.aspx

Please be careful when you get any email messages. Always hover your mouse over any links in the message to verify they open web sites you expect. Even better, don’t click on any link from a source you don’t recognize.

Should you feel you need to get in touch with the sender of the message, do so using their regular contact channels. In this case, open the Facebook web site as you normally do in your browser. (and also make sure you are using their secure login site at https://www.facebook.com – notice the https?) If there is a problem with your account, you will see a notification on your page and can deal with a legitimate problem.
